Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MiniGolfHQ ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including players and course owners.
2. Description of Service
MiniGolfHQ provides a web-based mini golf scoring platform. Players can score games for free by scanning QR codes or visiting the website. Course owners can subscribe to list their courses and access additional features including branded QR codes and Google review prompts.
3. Player Accounts
Players do not need to create accounts. Player names entered during games are used solely for the purpose of that game session and the resulting scorecard. Players may optionally purchase upgrades (such as ad removal) which are tied to their device.
4. Course Subscriptions
Course owners subscribe to the Service on a monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe and renew automatically. You may cancel at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
5. Pricing Changes
We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not affect existing subscribers until their next renewal period. Your pricing tier is locked for as long as you remain continuously subscribed.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service; reverse engineer any part of the Service; impersonate another person or entity; or use automated tools to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable usage.
7. Intellectual Property
The MiniGolfHQ name, logo, and all associated visual design and software are the property of MiniGolfHQ. Course owners retain ownership of their course names and branding. Player-generated content (scores, names) is owned by the respective players.
8. Limitation of Liability
MiniGolfHQ is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We are not responsible for connectivity issues caused by your device or network.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violation of these terms. Course owners may cancel their subscriptions at any time. Upon termination, course-specific features will be deactivated at the end of the billing period.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify course owners of material changes via email.
